Syllabus
This course will expose the student to the fundamentals of simulation and game design from concept to forming strategies and development. The course will cover topics such as gaming genres, simulation conventions, interface design, storytelling, and selling concepts in formal proposals.
This course is designed for students in the simulation and design curriculum, individuals currently working in the gaming industry, and those interested in gaming in general.
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to describe the fundamentals of simulation and game design, including interface design, programming requirements, and development of concepts that bring a simulated environment to life.
